Subject: Dispatch at they're best!
I have downloaded many dispatch shows and sorted through them... unfortunately I wasn't around to experience them live, but I can probably say that I have heard 90% of all the posted shows and this is by far on of their best. They go from their instrumentals into their songs... and they jam out in between too.... whaddya wanna be, wide right turns, root down some great songs that never really made it out there as much as they should have. If you don't love those songs its because you haven't heard this show yet. A must have for every dispatch fan!

Subject: a little FYI
In the song War, they go into Rage Against the Machine's "Bullet in your head." It's very cool. Great sounding concert as well.

Subject: Very cool
It's a very cool gig. Wetlands was an awesome place, kinda small though. Towards the end of the show, one of the guys in the band goes "they say if we do another one like this, we're going to Irving Plaza!" Irving plaza is maybe 2-5K people strong, not too big either. I dont know much about them, but i know they fell apart by now, but before they did, I bet they played a few bigger venues than Irving. Kickass.

Subject: Great performance/setlist and sound quality
I'm very very glad I downloaded this show. Although I'm not the biggest sound expert, I think this show sounds great. At certain points, the vocals get a little drowned out by the audience, but this is a very minor occurence. Usually the blend between the audience and the band is perfect, and, I think, one of the recording's best strengths. I can't stress enough how well this recording captures the audience and band feeding off each other's energy. It really captures the intensity of Dispatch at a time when they were rising to popularity very quickly, yet still exciting and new.
